Morning All,
Bank 1 - DEAD :(
Why? Too many bets still, too many rushed decisions, too many poor quality selections.
I'll take today off the punt and work out my next plan of attack - early thoughts are to reload the bank and come back with a new plan, I have one in mind but will hold off for now as I think it through a bit more. The other thing I have to do is find a way to be able to put my bets on and still get to work on time. Some planning to be done.
Here's the results with the sports bets still running.
Bank 1
Bet 91 Albion Park Greys 1 - 1 Molly Gro Go @ $1.59
Bet 92 Wentworth Park Greys 4 - 3 Glen Oak Boy
Bet 93 Wentworth Park Greys 10 - 2 Icy Conquest
Lost $15.70 Overall Loss $100 :(
Bank 3
Bet 45 Wentworth Park 1,4,6 / 6,7,8 / 4,5,7 / 1,2,3,6,7 - 3.70% - Lost
Bet 46 Cranbourne 1,3,8 / 3,5 / 2,7 / 1,4,5,6 - 10.42% - Lost
Loss $10 Overall Loss $69.89
So I'll be back tomorrow, or maybe tonight after poker.
Either way, need to clear my head and do some thinking although I am learning a bit about my punting here and must admit I'm not feeling an urge to go back to what I was doing before - that's a very good thing.
Have a great day All

Greetings Womble,
In order to turn the corner and get a real edge with your punting you must establish a mandatory set daily investment figure.
For example: if you had a 200 point bank you might settle for 10% of this amount to bet each day. You never decrease this figure even if you lose. The ten bets that you have in your bank offers the insurance that you must lose 10 bets in order to deplete your bank.
Naturally when your bank grows (doubles)you have a higher base bet amount to bet on any day.
You will be surprised how good it feels to know that any one day is not more important then the next day...and so on.
After a few weeks with this method you will feel in total control of yourself, your money and your betting.
Depending on your success rate and your confidence you can adjust your bank to 20 set wagers or 30 or even 50...50 wagers at 20 points you would need 1000 points in your bank.
The point is that when you write down on an index card your RULES THAT CANNOT BE BROKEN you are making a pact with your self to change your habits and play with a plan.
I have read Womble that most people can change their habits within three weeks if they work at it and believe in the change.
Good luck mate! and remember IT'S ALL YOU! You can do it.
Zappi
G'day Zappi,
Agreed - the problem is it's a hell of a lot easier to do if you have a decent bank to bet with. It's pretty frustrating having bets to win a few dollars when you want to be hitting targets 100 times that amount.
Takes time though, and I know that. I definitely do have more control then I had before.
I'm not far off having it all sorted.
Thanks the for the encouragement.
