Day 9 - 1 A new approach

Morning All,

It was good having the day off, gave me a chance to think things through. I've decided to make a couple of changes - one small, one a bit bigger - let's hope it helps.

With Bank 1 I'm going to change from 5 * 2% to 2 * 5% (with a $5 minimum) - so fewer but bigger bets. Main driver for this is actually work related - I'm changing jobs on Monday and I won't be able to stuff about for an hour each morning on here. It also lets me take the fixed odds on Betfair where possible e.g. today. Finally,I'd rather the bigger bets and additional pressure that's goes with that, hopefully it'll lead to better results.

With bank 3 I'm going to tighten it up a bit. Picking teams against big starts is stupid especially when I can get ok odds with straight win bets with no margins. The prices will be shorter but the strike rate should lift. That's the plan anyway.

You'll probably think Soul Diva is a strange bet, it's a little more heart then head as I have a small interest in the horse. She's been great fun winning 9 races including back to back wins in both Brisbane and Melbourne. They aimed high with her this spring and she hasn't quite measured up. The track today is a worry but she's classy and game so still a chance - GO YOU GOOD THING!!!
