Day 1 - 2

Hey All,

Well not the best of starts with just the 1 odds on winner :(

Lots of room for improvement and hopefully we'll see that over time - well actually hopefully we'll see that tonight :)

Bet 1 - Sale Race 1 (1pm) - 6 Hold the Line - 3rd
Bet 2 - Sale Race 2 (1.35pm) - 6 Scion - Won $1.80
Bet 3 - Port Lincoln Race 1 (1.45pm) - 4 Deputy Sea - 2nd
Bet 4 - Gold Coast Race 3 (3.13pm) - 8 Cugat's Lady - Unplaced
Bet 5 - Wyong Race 5 (3.40pm) - 1 Salon Lumiere - Unplaced

1 winner from 5 bets (20% strike rate)

Loss of $6.40

Here's tonights greyhound and harness bets

Bet 6 - Penrith Harness 2(6.50 pm) - 2 Rigatoni
Bet 7 - Angle Park Greys 2(7.36pm) - 2 Nirimba Desire
Bet 8 - Dapto Greys 3(8.11pm) - 1 Emma Bites
Bet 9 - Albion Park Greys 5(9.08pm) - 2 Black Monty
Bet 10 - Dapto Greys 7(9.38pm) - 7 Sky Fly High

Hoping for a few more winners, some will be short but let's see what happens (NOTE - bets are a minimum of $2 so technically more than 2% of my bank)

Bank 2 also starts off tonight, it's my sports betting bank. A little different approach here with bets of 2 * 5%. I'll spray these around on all sorts of sports but usually something a bit more major than European ice hockey or the like.

First 2 bets are on the tennis

Bet 1 - Nikolay Davydenko vs Juan Martin Del Porto @ $1.67
Bet 2 - Andy Murray vs Rojer Federer @ $2.20

A lot of my sports picks will be odds on but I'm hoping for a very good strike rate.

There are lots of sayings about betting odds on - e.g.

Odds on look on

Don't bet odds on don't run down stairs

etc etc etc

Personally I don't mind betting on odds on chances as long as they are value - now that's something I struggle with. But we'll develop that discussion in the coming weeks.

Hopefully the formatting of this reads ok, I'm keeping my results in an excel spreadsheet but it didn't paste across correctly and I can't be bothered fixing that up at the moment. Maybe a little down the track.

Anyways, things to do - fingers crossed for better results tonight.
