In $440.80 Out $281 Profit $159.80

Overall - I've done up a spreadsheet of results from back in January when I started the ratings BUT have built it to include the top 5 rated in each race to make it balance out. Unfortunately I can't just cut and paste the results in so will just post the key figures - N.B - I've been rounding down to the nearest whole dollar where as the spreadsheet multiplies by the actual figures. So they are out a little but accurate enough to give a guide to how things are going. If I was to bet on Betfair I could bet the actual amounts as per the spreadsheet.

So after 8 weeks and 59 races

Out - $3179
In - $3422
Profit - $242 (POT 7.61%)

The exotics

Quinellas - plus $181 (POT 30.75%) - cost $10 per race
Exactas - plus $242 (POT 20.47%) - cost $20 per race
Trifectas - minus $164 (LOT 4.64%) - cost $60 per race

So some very interesting numbers - most would say you need at least 1000 races to have a decent guide but I think 100 will give me an indication if I should continue or not - I would love to be at 10% profit on turnover (POT) by then but would be happy with anything above 5%.

Wait and see I guess, if I pull my finger out and do both Sydney and Melbourne from now I should get to 100 races in the next 3 weeks or so.

Have a great week All

p.s. GO THE RAIDERS :)
