Had a bit of a read back over some old posts earlier this afternoon - looks like things are just like they used to be with the ratings, quinellas and exactas the way to make money.

So there it is - quinellas and exactas both kick butt, wipe outs everywhere else. I've put the trifectas and quaddie in for interest but based on last years trial the quinellas and exactas, and more specfically the exactas are the ones to play.

Another that I've thought up to be looked at is to lay the shortest priced runner that doesn't make my top 5 - here's the results for today

Race 6 - Lay Devil Rider $4.30 Unp
Race 7 - Lay Ajhar $4.20 Unp
Race 8 - Lay Jewel of Johar $7.60 Unp
Race 9 - Lay Thrillionaire $5.90 3rd

Prices are the lay price taken from the Betfair Advantage Tool - so 4 for 4 to start off :)

Day 1 done and dusted, definitely enough to make me want to come back tomorrow and see how things progress.
