From the best day to the worst :(

Hey All,

Well that was a bit of a disaster - the ratings just couldn't get going yesterday. There a few that won that I had unders and a few that just missed at good odds running seconds and thirds. It's all very frustrating but hopefully it'll work out ok in the end.

Here's the results - just the 3 winners from 21 races :(

Oakbank Race 5 - Our Scene @ $3.10 (rated $3)

Caulfield Race 7 - Happy Glen @ $6.90 (rated $5.50)

Randwick Race 9 - Miss Darcy @ $5.50 (rated $3.10)

Yesterday Overall

Out - $1169
In - $402
Loss - $766
Quinella - Loss $144
Exacta - Loss $294
Trifecta - Loss $1195

Yesterday Melbourne Only

Out - $462
In - $125
Loss - $338
Quinella - Loss $56
Exacta - Loss $120
Trifecta - Loss $355

Overall

Out - $6633
In - $6015
Loss - $618 (LOT 9.32%)
Quinella - Profit $37 (POT 3.07%)
Exacta - Profit $22 (POT 0.93%)
Trifecta - Loss $1765 (LOT 24.31%)

Overall - Melbourne Only

Out - $4451
In - $4628
Profit - $177 (POT 3.98%)
Quinella - Profit $271 (33.93%)
Exacta - Profit $413 (POT 25.78%)
Trifecta - Profit $695 (POT 14.47%)

So there's still some black figures about which is a good thing. Luckily I won't have to rate Oakbank again, even though I did find the one winner in the race I didn't have to rate!!! My ratings should work on all tracks but were designed for Melbourne so that probably explains why they are doing better for now.

With the ratings challenge - wipeout for me :(

A few of the others managed a win thanks to finding the $30 winner in the last. Here's the table with 2 weeks down and 10 to go.

Len + $870.34
John L + $276.30
Me + $187.66
John D - $156.04
Ken - $431.51
Cabbie - $511.24

Long way to go but Len is clearly the one to beat - fingers crossed for a few good weeks

Raiders got a win last night, well done guys - Swans were terrible in the wet the same as usual, it's going to be a long year.

Big day of racing next Saturday with the Doncaster and the AJC Oaks, will be a ripper.

Have a great week All
